RANGER DISPATCHER

Department: Parks + Rec Grade: 130 Salary: $20.60/hour Job Duties: Responsible for performing dispatcher duties for the Park Safety and Enforcement Division and the Parks and Recreations associates; monitors radio traffic from area law enforcement departments as related to the Parks and Recreations system and dispatches Park Rangers and other emergency personnel to areas. Responsible for receptionist and administrative duties, information center for all park associates, general public including referral and safety resources. Other duties include budget tracking, ordering, and tracking expenditures, supplies, updating schedules, compiling reports, compiling purchase requisitions and vendor payments. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or its equivalent. One year of work related experience Must pass Clerical examination, and type 30 WPM. Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License. Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
