Job Overview As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by picking orders, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving. You’ll use warehouse equipment and inventory tools to help ensure products are stored, tracked, and prepared for shipment accurately. Your impact: Accurate order picking and safe load and unload practices help customers and coworkers receive the right materials when they need them. Responsibilities Pick, stage, and move orders using an RF (radio frequency) scanner and warehouse management system. Support shipping and receiving, inventory management, and warehouse distribution tasks. Load and unload materials; use manual handling techniques and material handling equipment safely. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes when trained and authorized. Follow safety protocols, including applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, and use basic math to verify quantities. Requirements Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, order picking, materials handling, and heavy lifting. Ability to follow safety procedures and perform manual handling tasks. Experience operating heavy equipment or material handling equipment is helpful; relevant equipment experience may include forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or cranes. Inventory management, RF scanner, and warehouse management system experience are preferred. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
