Quito Gin, Inc.Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Railcar Tarp Installer to join our team. This role involves installing tarps on open-top gondola railcars used for transporting cottonseed, ensuring the secure covering of railcars to protect cargo during transit. The position requires outdoor work experience and a strong commitment to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in outdoor environments, performing light maintenance, and maintaining a clean work area. Additionally, responsibilities include pinning doors on railcars and supporting facility upkeep as needed. Responsibilities Install tarps on open-top gondola cottonseed railcars efficiently and securely. Pin doors on railcars to ensure proper closure and safety during transit. Perform light maintenance tasks to support the functionality of the facility and equipment. Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety standards at all times. Follow all safety protocols strictly to maintain a safe working environment. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, demonstrating flexibility and resilience. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience is preferred. Ability to adhere to safety protocols diligently. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for installing tarps and pinning doors. Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual tasks in an outdoor setting. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
