Quality Shipping & Receiving Inspector

General Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain and ensure Quality of Shipping and Receiving Documentation, Purchase orders, and Pack Lists. Scan shipping & receiving. Return to Dept for correction. Understand customer requirements, our company’s internal scrap challenges, rework, customer returns, the impact they have on your job and demonstrate ability to deliver quality & efficient workmanship. Wear proper safety equipment; always keep the work area clean and safe. Review & inspect all material being used and everything processed. Assist in maintaining the organization’s paper files archives. 6. Utilize customer portals to receive / ship and obtain system control specifications /electronic drawings. 7. Track and report on items moving through their area. 8. Cross train within the Quality Systems Department and provide backup when needed. 9. Scanning route tickets, shipping, and receiving documents. 10. Designated Quality Representative (DQR). 11. Internal Auditing. Report any problems or discrepancies to immediate management. Presently vicinity of inspection is in the Shipping and Receiving Area, often shipping doors are open to the outside environment 14. All other duties and accomplishment of goals assigned by supervision, (Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis). Skills: Associate degree and 2-3 years of quality experience preferred Quality auditing experience preferred Ability to read and understand Quality procedures and documents Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 Basic blueprint reading Ability to interpret basic Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T). Must understand how to use measuring devices and have knowledge of quality processes and acceptable quality standards. Inspection skills; attention to detail, ability to read and interpret QMS documents. Excellent Microsoft Office Skills Ability to master MAC ERP & Quality Program. Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels and customers. Time Management and drive for results.
