Quality Control, Packaging & Shipping Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and highly detail-oriented Quality Control, Packaging & Shipping Supervisor to lead our operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the quality assurance processes, packaging procedures, and shipping activities for our small business. Your leadership will ensure that products are packaged accurately, shipped on time, and meet the highest standards of quality. Duties Manage the day-today operation of the Quality Control, Packaging & Shipping Dept. Verify products against work order, quantities, specifications and perform final inspection of complete orders. Organize, assemble, package various products as required. Package and prepare orders for UPS, USPS and other shipping methods. Create invoices for products and communicating with customers about shipments and pickups. Prioritizing work according to production schedules and communicating with other departments to make sure deadlines are met. Maintain an organized, clean and efficient department. Train and direct other employees who assist with assembly, packaging & shipping. Attributes Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage several jobs and priorities at the same time Dependability and a strong sense of personal responsibility Able to follow work orders and detailed instructions Good basic computer skills Good communications skills Willingness to perform hands-on assembly, packaging and shipping work rather than functioning solely as a manager.
