Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Continuous Improvement, the Quality & Continuous Improvement Supervisor is the hands-on lead for continuous improvement, operational quality, and standard work on the warehouse floor across the iDC network. This role turns the priorities set by the Manager, Continuous Improvement into executed projects, sustained standard work, and measurable gains in safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost. The position spends most of its time on the operations floor, working side by side with site leadership, Operations supervisors, leads, and associates to observe processes, solve problems at the source, and put changes in place. It also partners with Engineering, Onboarding, and IT/WMS teams to bring process discipline to new customer launches through layout, slotting, pick sequence, and WMS location design. A key focus of the role is building improvement habits at the site level so that teams follow standard work and close actions without ongoing support. Job Responsibilities Lead site-level continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events, partnering directly with Operations teams to identify process inefficiencies, resolve issues at the source, and implement improvements using Lean, A3, PDCA, 5S, and root cause analysis methodologies Identify improvement opportunities through floor observations, Gemba Walks, and data analysis; develop business cases and submit recommendations to the Manager, Continuous Improvement for prioritization within the network improvement pipeline Establish project baselines, quantify labor and cost savings, track realized benefits, and implement sustainment plans with site Operations; report results for Finance validation and escalate performance gaps when expected improvements are not sustained Implement and maintain operational quality standards, inspection procedures, and process controls in alignment with network requirements; monitor key quality indicators, including inventory accuracy, order accuracy, product damage, process defects, and customer complaints, to identify trends and support the Cost of Poor Quality program Lead floor-level investigations into quality issues and operational nonconformances, partnering with Operations teams to determine root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verify their effectiveness Own and maintain the network SOP and standard work library, collaborating with Operations teams to develop practical procedures, manage document revisions and version control, and ensure appropriate coverage of safety, PPE, exception handling, escalation, and documentation requirements Lead SOP implementation, floor training, and pre-go-live walkthroughs; conduct periodic compliance reviews to verify adherence to standard work and address gaps with site leadership Manage execution strategy of the network Gemba Walk program, coordinate program standards, site handoffs, and quarterly sustainment reviews Train and coach site leaders and associates in Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, operational quality, and standard work to strengthen problem-solving capabilities and drive consistent execution across facilities Develop and optimize staging layouts, storage configurations, location naming conventions, slotting strategies, and pick sequences in collaboration with Operations and Industrial Engineering Coordinate WMS location m…
