Clark Pulley IndustriesQuality Assurance and Shipping Department Assistant Purpose: Perform daily/weekly job assignments and routines ass assigned by supervisor/leadership. Weekly priorities will be provided by leadership team. In the case shipping or quality manager is absent you will fulfill any high priority duties. Position Prerequisite: (must meet the following) 1. Comply with all rules and regulations of Clark Pulley Industries and actively contribute to workplace safety. 2. Demonstrate excellent attendance. 3. Interact in a positive and professional manner with co-workers, management and customers/suppliers. 4. Demonstrate high level of communication both within the company and to suppliers/customers. 5. Actively participate in any/all trainings. Stay current on compliance and safety trainings. 6. Support manufacturing improvement programs and initiatives. Offering and helping to implement improvement suggestions. 7. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment. 8. Wear and utilize all PPE required. 9. Follows standard quality and inspection work instructions. 10. Displays a high degree of attention to detail. 11. Displays appropriate sense of urgency in communicating concerns (ex: safety, quality) 12. Displays leadership skills in organization and time management. 13. Knowledge of Microsoft tools. (ex: excel, word, outlook) 14. Willingness to be hands-on to full voids in event of absenteeism. 15. Works required hours to ensure duties are fulfilled. Essential Functions: (will be required but are not limited to only these functions) *Training to be provided* 1. Use of dial calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, steel hardness test machines, gage block and other attribute gaging. 2. Comply with all requirements of inspection of incoming goods. a. Interpreting blue prints b. Recording dimensional measurements c. Entering data into operating system 3. Perform and maintain calibration tools and measuring equipment. 4. Ability to work with customer/supplier portal systems. 5. Scheduling trucks and creation of ASN. 6. Temporarily fulfill basic quality manager responsibilities if manager is absent. 7. Partner with final audit inspector for timing of shipping to customers. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Must be able to meet any training required for position 2. Ability to perform under deadline constraints 3. Measuring and Mathematical Skills a. Accurately be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide b. Be able to verify parts using blue prints and measuring tools c. Successfully interpret blue prints and demonstrate proficiency in understanding quality specifications d. Produces accurate results when using precision measuring instruments 4. Language Skills a. Effectively communicate with coworkers, leadership and suppliers/customers. b. Writes clearly and legibly c. Must have the ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner through electronic communications or other means 5. Computer Skills a. Proficient in Microsoft Office (ex: excel, word, outlook) b. Use of MTMS/Web Client software (training to be provided) 6. Basic Reasoning Skills a. Applies common sense when following written and oral instructions b. Reads, interprets and takes action on written instructions 7. Physical Requirements and Manual Dexterity a. Constand standing and walking throughout the shift b. Frequent bending, lifting and/or carrying throughout the shift c. Effective use of appropriate hand tools (ex: hand truck, pallet jack) d. Required to have close visual acuity to read visually, inspect for small defects and utilize measuring devices at distances close to eyes 8. Work Environment a. Subject to hot/cold temperatures b. May be subject to loud work areas c. Skin may be exposed to oils and/or coolant d. Must be able to adhere to company policies including but not limited to safety, quality, attendance and dress code. 9. Inventory a. Ability to keep a clean work area b.
