to join our dynamic Research & Development team. This role supports the Life Science Biology franchise within MilliporeSigma.
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Co-op to join the Quality Assurance department of our commercial drug product manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will assist in creating and updating material specification documentation while gaining valuable experience in pharmaceutical quality and materials management.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the receipt and evaluation of item coded materials for quality acceptance or rejection.
• Participate in document change control procedures and revision history maintenance.
• Assist in periodic reviews of controlled documents to ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Update controlled item specification documents to conform with updated site requirements.
• Perform quality oversight tasks for GMP warehouses
• Help prepare documentation for regulatory inspections and internal audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for Quality Inspection team
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems and cGMP principles
• strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to track and management project progress
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous exposure to pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience with SAP or other ERP
• Experience with data entry and records management
