Purchasing Supervisor

LCRA is looking for a Supervisor of Purchasing to join our Transmission Supply Chain Team! This role leads a fast-paced and motivated team providing excellent customer service to partners addressing critical on and off-contract purchasing needs. If you have experience purchasing goods and services in an electric utility environment, we want you to apply today. How You’ll Contribute: Build positive relationships with stakeholders and ensure purchasing activities align with overall business objectives. Mentor team members on procurement processes and continuous self-development objectives. Champion an environment of collaboration to expand strategy development of purchasing support needs. Negotiate purchasing terms that bring to bear supplier relationships and capacities to achieve a competitive purchasing advantage for LCRA. How You’re Qualified: Nine or more years of experience in purchasing/procurement, supply management, inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in business, logistics, supply management, accounting, engineering, inventory management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
