Purchasing & Sales Assistant

Job Summary : Supports purchasing, sales, vendors, and customers by coordinating orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication across departments. Key Responsibilities Process purchase and sales orders accurately and efficiently. Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, orders, and deliveries. Prepare and maintain purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and related records. Assist sales teams with customer orders, inquiries, pricing, and follow-up. Coordinate with vendors, customers, logistics, warehouse, and internal departments. Monitor orders and shipments to help ensure timely delivery. Enter and maintain purchasing and sales information in ERP systems and Excel. Identify and resolve pricing, quantity, documentation, or delivery discrepancies. Maintain organized purchasing and sales records. Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing and Sales departments. Previous purchasing, sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Seafood, food manufacturing, or import/export experience is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
