Purchasing / Parts Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing / Parts Manager to oversee procurement operations and manage parts inventory based on company needs. This role is responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient inventory control. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cost management and keeping operations running smoothly. Location: 3233 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33125 Store Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM & Saturday 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with vendors and suppliers Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing Track orders and ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and contracts Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and new products Prepare cost analyses and reports for management Oversee parts inventory and ensure proper stock levels at all times Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure all items arrive in good condition Assist walk-in customers with parts inquiries and equipment repairs Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required Minimum 2 years of customer service experience Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, basic data entry) Knowledge of construction tools or related equipment is preferred Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must Compensation & Benefits Paid time off Full-time position (8-hour shift) Weekend availability required Objective The goal of this role is to ensure efficient purchasing, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support overall business operations through effective cost control and supplier management.
