Purchasing Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement and supplier management activities in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely, cost-effective delivery of goods that support business operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute purchasing strategies to support production and business goals. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements. Manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze market trends and mitigate supply chain risks. Lead and develop purchasing team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership experience preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
