Purchasing Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team to engage with manufacturers in India. Native speaker from India is a must, understanding dialect from Gujarat . As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Your expertise in supply chain management, contract negotiation, and vendor management will be crucial in maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and optimizing our purchasing operations. Efficient scheduling and expediting of product a must. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the organization's needs - Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for production or operations - Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings - Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor relationships - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels - Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory levels and monitor purchasing activities - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards - Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments - Oversee the contract negotiation process and review contractual agreements Skills: - Proven experience in purchasing management or a similar role - Native speaker from India, dialect from Gujarat preferred. - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices - Proficiency in ERP systems. - Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers - Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed purchasing decisions - Familiarity with sourcing strategies and techniques - Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors - Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in procurement processes - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously Joining our team as a Purchasing Manager offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's success by optimizing our procurement processes.
