Purchasing Manager

Located in Cincinnati, OH Purchasing Manager Location: Cincinnati, OH Pay: $90k-$100k/yr+ Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2-3 years of equivalent experience, or 5-7 years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience. Demonstrated experience managing procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory control. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms. Experience analyzing purchasing data, costs, and inventory levels to support business decisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Manufacturing, printing, packaging, or Point-of-Purchase (POP) display industry experience preferred. Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, contract administration, inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain risk management preferred. Responsibilities: Lead procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, services, and equipment. Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance to maintain quality, pricing, and reliable supply. Oversee inventory control and purchasing costs while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Monitor supplier performance and proactively address supply chain risks that could impact production. Partner closely with Production, Scheduling, Sales, and Finance to support manufacturing and business needs. Analyze purchasing data, inventory levels, costs, and forecasts to support informed business decisions.
