Purchasing Manager $60,000 / annually IN OFFICE - Monday - Friday Alpharetta, GA 30004 www.americanfacilityservices.com About the Role We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities for a growing multi-location service organization. This position plays a critical role in vendor management, strategic sourcing, inventory oversight, cost control initiatives, and ensuring operational teams have the resources needed to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing activities across multiple business locations. Source and negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers. Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance. Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure product availability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement purchasing best practices. Analyze purchasing trends, spending, and inventory reports. Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, Fleet, and Finance teams. Research and evaluate new products, equipment, and suppliers. Ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with company purchasing policies. Manage warehouse, ensuring a safe and organized work space Qualifications 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain experience required. Experience negotiating pricing and managing supplier relationships. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in facility services, distribution, logistics, field services, operations support, or other multi-location business environments. Knowledge of inventory management, supplier performance metrics, and strategic sourcing practices. Experience leveraging national purchasing programs and supplier networks, including AFFLINK, Triple S, BradyPLUS, Imperial Dade, or similar organizations, strongly preferred. Established relationships with distributors, suppliers, and service vendors a plus.
