Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with manufacturing needs and company goals.
• Manage vendor relationships through regular communication, performance evaluations, and negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Oversee procurement processes utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to ensure accurate order placement and tracking.
• Coordinate with production teams to forecast material requirements based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) schedules and supply chain demands.
• Evaluate supplier proposals, analyze pricing structures, and negotiate contracts to maximize value while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, quality assurance, and finance to streamline procurement workflows.
Requirements
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement management within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; familiarity with MRP processes is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing strategies to optimize costs and supply reliability.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain operations, procurement procedures, and inventory control principles.
• Proficiency in using sourcing tools, pricing analysis techniques, and contract management practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build lasting supplier partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
