Purchasing & Inventory Specialist

Job Summary: The Purchasing and Inventory Specialist manages material sourcing, purchase orders (POs), supplier compliance, and inventory control within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment. This position ensures all procurement and stock-handling activities align with ISO/AS9100 quality management standards. Job Requirements: -Issue and manage POs for raw materials, hardware, and components using ERP/MRP software. -Sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, and negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms. -Collaborate with the Quality Control department to verify vendor compliance, track on-time delivery (OTD), and manage non-conforming material dispositions or Return Material Authorizations (RMAs). -Oversee raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess. -Conduct cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies. -Ability to work in a team environment and own mistakes/ solutions . -Constant desire for growth and innovation (We are a continuous improvement workplace, if you have no desire to excel this is not the job for you). - Intelligence (We need well versed 3-dimensional thinkers, AI is a tool that can be used to accelerate processes not a crutch to make up for lack of intelligence).
