We are seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Associate to support purchasing, material sourcing, inventory control, and daily documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with Excel, and interested in developing experience in purchasing, inventory, and materials management. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, willing to learn, and able to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers. Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, or materials management is preferred but not required. A college degree is not required for this position. Responsibilities: Assist with daily inventory management across multiple facilities. Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks. Create and maintain inventory count sheets and related documentation. Assist with tracking and managing raw materials. Process and maintain Purchase Orders based on customer orders, production needs, and inventory requirements. Help monitor open POs, deliveries, and material availability. Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and materials after receiving training. Assist with sourcing materials and learning the company's purchasing and sourcing processes. Review inventory levels and help identify shortages, discrepancies, or other inventory issues. Assist with receiving and maintaining accurate inventory records. Work with approximately 10 major customers whose Purchase Orders are received daily. Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. Assist with preparing inventory reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation. Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Accounting, Management, and suppliers to ensure materials are available when needed. Support inventory and purchasing activities across the company's five facilities. Assist with the company's continued growth and increased production activity in Mexico. Perform other purchasing, inventory, and administrative duties as needed. Requirements: Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, materials, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong willingness to learn purchasing, sourcing, and inventory processes. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. No college degree required. Bilingual Spanish is preferred/required.
