As a Purchasing Intern, you will support data analysis, supplier documentation, and sourcing initiatives. You will gain exposure to supply chain management while helping the team develop data-driven strategies. Your work will focus on enhancing tools for government-part sourcing, small-business reporting, and operational decision-making.

• Collect and organize supplier documentation regarding tariffs, country of origin, and small-business requirements.
• Improve existing analytical tools and dashboards to increase purchasing visibility.
• Assist with government-part sourcing and related reporting tasks.
• Help expedite requests for quotation and support supplier follow-up.
• Identify data trends that improve sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and supply chain teams on various projects.
What you'll need
• Enrollment in an accredited bachelor degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or Engineering.
• An interest in strategic sourcing and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
Location & details
• Location: Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.
• Term: Summer 2027, from June 1 through August 20, 2027.
• Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• This is a paid internship.
