Director of Purchasing leads estimating and procurement for construction projects, driving accurate cost modeling and effective bid strategies. Manages vendor negotiations, purchase order execution, and the options program while optimizing procurement processes and data utilization. Key Responsibilities Oversee cost models, estimating support, and bid strategy development. Lead vendor and trade partner negotiations and manage sourcing efforts. Direct purchase order processes and support execution of procurement deliverables. Manage the options program to align scope and cost decisions. Develop and lead the purchasing team; strengthen trade relationships. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction, sales, and finance to support quality, schedules, and margin performance. Improve procurement workflows and enhance reporting/analytics through better data use.
