Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing Coordinator Full-Time Location: Detroit Metro area Salary range: $63,000 - $73,000 annually, based on experience Metro Detroit based contractor looking to add to growing and thriving team. Excellent opportunity for a new individual to take on the role of purchasing coordinator and buyer. This particular role will be actively involved in the purchasing of material and team service in respect to order fulfillment under the supervision of the purchasing manager. ● Process requisitions and purchase orders for material and any necessary amendments ● Research and obtain quotations, pricing and delivery terms ● Follow up on purchase order to confirm delivery will be on time as specified in the purchase order ● Provide timely responses to supplier inquiries, create and maintain positive relationships with suppliers ● Strong attention to detail required ● Maturity, flexibility and a teamwork mentality ● Excellent organization, problem solving and prioritization skills a must ● Associates/Bachelors degree in Business, Materials/Supply Chain Management or 3-5 years experience in purchasing ● Job Type: Full-time All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status Pay: $63,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
