Purchasing Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. Responsibilities Coordinate procurement processes using ERP systems such as AS400 and Accumatica to ensure timely purchasing of materials and services. Manage vendor communication. Monitor inventory levels through inventory management systems and conduct regular inventory control audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. Support materials management by collaborating with logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations and streamline procurement workflows. Analyze Excel data for procurement trends and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and vendor interactions within purchasing management systems. Qualifications Proven experience with ERP systems such as AS400, Accumatica or similar platforms. Strong understanding of materials management, supply chain management, procurement processes, and inventory control. Proficiency in spreadsheets and Excel data analysis for reporting and decision support. Familiarity with purchasing management systems that are technically supported within the organization. Excellent communication skills for effective vendor relationship management and internal collaboration.
