About the Opportunity SLM Facility Solutions Nationwide is seeking a motivated, resourceful, and solution-focused individual to join our Procurement team as a Purchasing Coordinator. We're looking for someone who brings energy, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn. We value individuals who can think independently, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Source vendors and obtain competitive pricing for services. Communicate and negotiate with vendors to support customer needs. Review quotes, compare costs, and identify cost-effective solutions. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery. Maintain accurate records and follow through on open requests. Proactively identify and resolve challenges as they arise. What We're Looking For Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated sound judgment and practical problem-solving abilities. Positive, proactive attitude with a high level of energy and initiative. Willingness to learn new processes, systems, and industry knowledge. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills. Solution-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This position requires in-office training, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement following successful training, based on business needs.
