Purchasing Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team! This position plays an important role in managing product orders, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered as expected. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicates well, and enjoys keeping things organized in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Place orders for apparel and promotional products. Build and maintain positive relationships with outside vendors. Verify pricing to ensure accuracy on all orders. Assist in sourcing alternative products when items are unavailable or discontinued. Process payments as needed. Work closely with the receiving department to ensure the correct items are received and assist with resolving discrepancies or other order-related issues. Track incoming orders and monitor order status as needed. Communicate with vendors and internal team members to help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with Google Docs is a plus. Familiarity in the apparel and promotional product industry is a plus. Our state-of-the-art facility houses automatic screen-printing presses, hand presses, embroidery machines, and a full service direct to garment printing department. Our customer base is very diversified, we service clients in the resort and gift markets, schools, and corporate America, offering full service custom decorated apparel and merchandise programs.
