Decorative MaterialsPROJECT COORDINATOR – DENVER, CO Decorative Materials is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Denver showroom team . This is a highly organized support role for someone who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys managing details and takes pride in helping projects move smoothly from selection through installation. Decorative Materials is Colorado’s largest privately owned luxury tile and stone dealer, with showrooms in Denver, Edwards and Basalt, along with A&D libraries serving Telluride, Crested Butte and Steamboat Springs. For 30 years, we’ve built our reputation on exceptional materials, deep industry knowledge and an elevated level of service. We partner with many of Colorado’s leading designers, architects and builders on distinctive residential, hospitality and commercial projects throughout the state and beyond. Our Project Coordinators are an essential part of the client experience. Working closely with our Design Consultants, they manage the details, communication and follow-through that keep complex projects moving forward. They are proactive problem-solvers who understand that exceptional service often comes down to anticipating what is needed before someone has to ask. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, resourceful and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once. Tile and stone experience is a plus, but curiosity, attention to detail and a desire to become an expert are equally important. The Role Partner closely with Design Consultants to manage projects from initial selection through quoting, ordering, delivery and installation Prepare quotes, sales orders, samples and project documentation accurately and efficiently Coordinate with clients, vendors, purchasing, warehouse and logistics teams to keep orders and project timelines on track Proactively follow up on open estimates, samples, approvals, lead times and outstanding project details Maintain accurate and organized project information within our internal systems Identify potential issues early and help resolve challenges as project details or timelines change Communicate clearly with clients regarding order status, lead times, shipping details and next steps Research products, availability, technical information and installation considerations as needed Support Design Consultants in maintaining an active sales pipeline and consistent client follow-up Develop strong product knowledge and become a reliable resource for clients and internal team members Collaborate with the broader Decorative Materials team to deliver a seamless, elevated client experience What We’re Looking For Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication skills and the confidence to interact professionally with designers, architects, builders, vendors and homeowners A proactive mindset with strong follow-through and the ability to anticipate needs Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, particularly when project details change or challenges arise An appreciation for design, architecture and beautiful materials Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day A collaborative approach and an understanding that exceptional client service requires a strong partnership between sales, operations and support teams Experience in interior design, architecture, construction, project coordination, customer service, tile and stone or another detail-oriented environment is preferred Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software and internal systems College degree or equivalent professional experience required Availability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., from our Denver showroom Compensation & Benefits Base salary + bonus opportunity Decorative Materials offers an excellent benefits package, a beautiful and creative work environment and the opportunit…
