Purchasing Buyer

Requirements: 4 years of experience in procurement strategy, to include: planning, sourcing, solutioning, and supplier relationship management. 2 years of experience negotiating and authoring contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing. Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. Military affiliation preferred. Responsibilities: Proficient experience: contracting & analytical tools, including Microsoft Office products contract redlining, develop cost analysis, charts, and/or supporting documentation Conducts all phases in the development of moderately complex acquisitions of third-party/affiliate solutions to include consulting on statements of work, creating requests for proposals, identification of qualified suppliers, proposal evaluations and negotiations. Applies proficient knowledge in the design and execution of moderately complex sourcing plans and solutions designed to achieve client's strategy through deployment of third-party solutions. Interprets the provisions and specific terms of low to complex risk contracts that can decrease the Enterprise's ability to execute on the mission, damage reputation, and/or impair financial stability of the Enterprise such that capital strength of liquidity is temporarily impacted. Collaborates with Legal and other subject matter experts as needed to interpret and ensure accuracy of contracts and resolve escalated issues. Coordinates with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and specifications to design third-party solutions to achieve optimal business outcomes.
