Job Summary To provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. Duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue and posting receipts. Primary Responsibilities of the position co-ordination of purchasing activities with approved supplier base. Negotiate best pricing and discount, with supply base - applying principles of buying, inventory controltransportations Continuous review of procurements to ensure appropriate negotiations conducted, issues resolved with supply base Issue purchase orders from properly authorized requisitions Assist in inventory countsreporting. Contact with stock-keepers and purchasing assistants when needed. Ensure inventory levels are appropriateorders are timely to secure economic deliveries Education, experience, skills Bachelor's degree in Purchasing/Business administration or related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing with a professional designation Able to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, effectively handle pressure, and maintain good relations with suppliers and vendors Solid understanding of Purchasing TermsConditions Why work for Meridian Lightweight Technologies?
