Purchasing Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic procurement team. In this vital role, you will support the purchasing and inventory management processes to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Duties Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Utilize ERP systems such as NETSUITE for order processing, and inventory control. Collaborate with supply chain management teams to coordinate sourcing activities and optimize procurement workflows. Communicate with all departments to track and plan job scheduling. Ensure all requirements, such as HOA approval, Permit approval, and materials, are available prior to confirming the installation date with the customer. Data entry of all communication activity pertaining to customer accounts in CRM. Maintains and updates the scheduling system and trackers. Reviews all information, including site photos, to ensure that it’s ready for installation. Plans and coordinates crew & equipment assignment for each job. Communicates with customers. Follows up with customer to confirm that all contract requirements for site preparation are met prior to the day of installation and requests photos for support. Answering customers' questions and sending additional information. Requirements Familiarity with logistics coordination and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems Ability to work effectively within purchasing management systems supported by technical teams Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record- keeping Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
