Purchasing Assistant

PURCHASING ASSISTANT AIRCO Mechanical, a leader in the Heating, Air Conditioning, Electrical and Plumbing Industry, is now accepting applications or resumes for a Purchasing Clerk position at its Round Rock service operation. This opportunity is dynamic and fulfilling as the position is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services for the company. The successful candidate will work closely with company divisions and suppliers for correct ordering, Wage is based on education, skill and experience Working hours are normally 8AM to 5PM with occasional overtime Job Duties: Assist in preparing and writing purchase orders based on the company’s needs Confirm price quotes, delivery schedules, and the accurate process of purchase orders Strong documentation skills both in writing and verbal communication Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders Help monitor purchase orders with multiple invoices for budget / purchase control Maintain a positive attitude Work with the accounting, production and logistic departments to aid with purchasing needs. Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent Business degree a plus Strong attention to detail and organization skills Basic knowledge of business software, purchasing software and Microsoft products Willing to work as part of a team If you are seeking a professional position with growth opportunities this job may be your answer We're looking for someone who wants to be a team player.
