Purchasing Assistant

Overview The Purchasing Assistant supports purchasing, procurement, and international trading activities by coordinating supplier information, monitoring purchase orders, and assisting with the sourcing of vehicles, automotive products, and related materials. Working closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams, this role helps ensure efficient purchasing operations, accurate documentation, and timely coordination of international shipments. Duties Support sourcing and purchasing activities by identifying potential suppliers, gathering product and vendor information, comparing prices, and preparing purchasing documentation. Track purchase orders, vehicle purchases, and delivery schedules, following up with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve discrepancies and delays. Coordinate with international vendors and internal teams to maintain supplier relationships, confirm product availability, negotiate routine pricing, and address order-related inquiries. Assist with import and export documentation, including purchase records, invoices, shipping documents, and other trade-related paperwork. Monitor inventory and purchasing requirements to help ensure the timely availability of vehicles, automotive parts, and related products. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and order information using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Support communication between suppliers, shipping companies, customs brokers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth international trade operations. Requirements Required: Practical knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records. Confidence in coordinating with vendors and tracking orders is essential. Preferred: Experience in international trading, import/export operations, automotive purchasing, supplier management, pricing negotiations, logistics, shipping documentation, or ERP systems such as SAP.
