Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Houston, Texas. Our company specializes in diesel truck parts, including Engine Control Modules (ECMs), electronic components, and other heavy-duty truck parts. No previous experience is required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable making phone calls, communicating with suppliers, and learning new skills. Responsibilities Make phone calls to businesses, diesel repair shops, truck salvage yards, and parts suppliers. Contact potential suppliers to inquire about new and used diesel truck parts. Request pricing and product availability. Find potential suppliers of used ECMs and other diesel components. Maintain records of supplier contact information and prices. Report findings to management. Requirements Must reside in Houston, Texas. Good communication skills in English. Comfortable making outbound phone calls. Basic computer skills. Responsible, organized, and willing to learn. No prior experience necessary. Spanish is a plus, but not required. What We Offer Training provided.
