Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist
Duravit USA, Inc.Duravit USA, Inc., a luxury bathroom fixture manufacturer with a Sales, Marketing, and Distribution Center located in Duluth, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist with experience in the manufacturing and/or wholesale distribution industry. Duravit USA is responsible for supporting the North American market. This is a hybrid position based out of our Duluth, Georgia office . Duties include, but are not limited to: Manage supply chain logistics, purchasing, third-party sourcing, and order processing. Support inventory control and management for two warehouse locations. Assist with production planning, scheduling, and forecasting. Oversee the shipping process for incoming products. Serve as a primary point of contact with our parent company regarding order issues, shipping discrepancies, spare parts assistance, and related supply chain matters. Assist management with daily activity reports and analysis of key performance metrics. Provide regular inventory reports, backorder updates, and related analysis to management. Identify and implement process improvements within purchasing and procurement. Assist with strategic planning and budgeting in collaboration with Sales Management. Support the parent company with forecasting, production planning, and inventory level assessments. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to support product availability and efficient supply chain operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or a related function, preferably within a manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution environment or related coursework. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-based, cross-functional environment to accomplish company goals and identify and resolve challenges. Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with AS400 and/or SAP is a plus. Experience in the plumbing, building products, or related industry is a plus.
