urchasing & LogisticsSpecialist to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with suppliers, coordinating logistics and being part of a team that keeps manufacturing moving.
What You'll Do
• Source materials, parts and supplies and issue purchase orders.
• Prepare RFQs and provide drawings and specifications to suppliers.
• Review quotes and assist with pricing and payment-term negotiations.
• Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to maintain delivery schedules.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Prepare domestic and international shipping and customs documentation.
• Track shipments and communicate delivery information to internal teams.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and delivery information in IFE’s ERP system.
• Maintain supplier records and assist with supplier performance evaluations.
• Research and recommend new suppliers.
• Review freight and material costs and identify potential savings.
• Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Inventory, Accounting and Quality Control.
• Ensure purchased products meet IFE’s quality requirements and QMS standards.
• Assist with Inside Sales and order desk activities as required.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers and internal staff by phone and email.

• Reliable transportation.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to learn and grow.
Experience That Would Be an Asset
• Purchasing or procurement experience in oilfield, industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of oilfield products or manufacturing processes.
• Basic CNC machining knowledge.
• Inside Sales or Order Desk experience.
• Experience reading drawings or using measuring tools.
• Familiarity with CAD software.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. As you progress, future compensation reviews will also include dependability, effort and attitude.
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Education:
• Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
• purchasing: 1 year (preferred)

• class 5 driving license (preferred)
