Purchasing and Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Cannabis Inventory & Purchasing Manager to oversee product purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory control, and quality assurance across multiple cannabis retail locations. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, experience managing inventory and purchasing, and a solid understanding of cannabis products and industry trends. This position plays a key role in ensuring all locations remain properly stocked with high-quality products while maintaining accurate inventory records, efficient purchasing processes, and strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities Vendor Relations & Product Purchasing Establish and maintain professional relationships with cannabis product vendors, distributors, and suppliers. Communicate regularly with vendors regarding product availability, pricing, promotions, and new product releases. Manage purchasing and product ordering for all retail locations. Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms, and bulk order opportunities to maximize profitability. Research new products, brands, and market trends to identify purchasing opportunities. Coordinate vendor deliveries and ensure orders arrive accurately and on schedule. Order intake and distribution Inventory Management & Control Oversee inventory levels across multiple retail locations to maintain appropriate stock availability, monitoring product movement, sales trends, and inventory turnover to make informed purchasing decisions. Track stock levels and identify products requiring replenishment. Coordinate inventory transfers and product distribution between locations. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Maintain organized and accurate inventory records Communicate regularly with store managers regarding inventory needs, product requests, and purchasing priorities. Routine Quality Assurance to Maintain Product Standards Qualifications Required: Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple vendors, orders, and retail sales. Experience with inventory tracking and purchasing processes. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently. Preferred: Previous experience in cannabis retail, cannabis distribution, or THC product inventory management. Experience in purchasing, vendor negotiations, or supply chain management. Familiarity with cannabis product categories, brands, pricing, and quality standards. Experience managing inventory across multiple retail locations.
