Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator
ConfidentialPurchasing and Inventory Coordinator Responsible for managing metal inventory and purchasing materials needed for fabrication projects. Works closely with the shop and project managers to ensure the correct materials are available on time, maintain accurate records, and avoid shortages or unnecessary purchases. Responsibilities include: Maintain an updated inventory of metal, hardware, and shop supplies, including sizes, quantities, and storage locations. Review project material lists and compare requirements with available stock. Request supplier quotes, compare pricing, and place orders. Track purchase orders, delivery dates, and material costs by project. Verify received materials match orders in quantity, size, and condition. Record materials assigned to each project and update remaining inventory. Track usable leftover materials for future projects. Communicate shortages, delays, or incorrect deliveries to the shop and project managers. Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
