Purchasing Analyst
Brooks EquipmentExpectations & Responsibilities Ability to work within Procurement department to maintain inventory levels and manage forecasting parameters effectively. Must possess strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to; Maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors Work directly with supplier representatives to resolve issues Provide product/vendor support for multiple sales teams Manage multiple product lines Support Purchasings role in Requests for Proposal (RFP) and/or Requests for Quotation (RFQ), blanket orders, etc. Possess Aptitude to: Analyze inventory and sales data Develop and prepare statistical, informational reports related to Procurement Utilize and improve performance metrics Support Corporate Procurement Strategy, Initiatives and Programs Requirements Technical or Bachelors degree in Business related fields or equivalent experience. (2-3 years of business related experience) Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills Strong computer skills including MS Office (specifically Microsoft Excel), CRM and SRM Strong communication and organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks, the ability to work in a fast paced ever-changing environment and meet deadlines Procurement experience a plus Manufacturing processes and controls experience a plus Spreadsheet analytics decision making capabilities a plus
