Purchasing Agent LOCATION : Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, FL JOB STATUS : Full-Time | Onsite CITIZENSHIP: U.S. Citizen Required We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Agent to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center . This role is essential for supporting procurement activities and ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services that support mission success. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline 2+ years of related experience (Purchasing Agent) Working knowledge of CostPoint and NASA FAR requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy U.S. Citizenship required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer interface skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with requestors to understand procurement needs and requirements Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance Create and process purchase orders (POs) or purchase via credit card Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships Reconcile procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned #CJ #LI-CK1
