Job Overview Join Our Team – Electrical Parts Purchasing Agent We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Purchasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing electrical components, parts, and supplies while ensuring competitive pricing, product quality, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Responsibilities Manage purchasing and procurement activities, including sourcing, direct negotiation procurement, pricing reviews, and contract coordination. Communicate with vendors, negotiate terms, and build effective vendor relationships. Monitor inventory management and inventory control needs; coordinate materials management, logistics, and supply chain activities. Maintain purchasing records and analyze spreadsheets and Excel data; support accounting, merchandising, and e-commerce processes as needed. Your impact: Timely purchasing and clear vendor communication help internal teams secure needed materials and support reliable operations. Qualifications Experience or demonstrated ability in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing management systems. Familiarity with Spectrum a plus. Skills in negotiation, vendor communication, vendor relationship management, contracts, sourcing, and pricing. Ability to work with spreadsheets and Excel data analysis; knowledge of inventory management, logistics, production planning, or merchandising is an advantage. Experience in the electrical trade or work history that involves knowing electrical parts is preferred (eg. electrical supply house, electrical contractor warehouse, etc.).
