We seek a Purchasing Agent to analyze our cost structure and aggressively drive systemic cost control and reductions across all of our divisions. This role will also be responsible for daily purchasing. This could be an amazing opportunity for the right person. The following gives an overview of some of the possible requirements of the job depending on ability and knowledge. We will train you! Typical responsibilities and tasks could include: Administer negotiations of labor and material pricing and other terms at project, regional and corporate levels. Manage estimating and bidding process per plans and specifications to minimize cost and confirm subcontracts. Ensure the timely issuance of purchase orders for all material and for larger labor contracts either directly or through other members of the team. Evaluate quality, delivery and cost performance across entire supply chain. Prepare and communicate project budgets. As needed, manage projects to ensure performance to schedule, budget, and contractual targets. Assist in other tasks as needed by field or Executive Office.
