Select Aerospace IndustriesDescription: Avotek, manufacturer of aviation maintenance training equipment, is looking to add a detail-oriented individual to our Purchasing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working on independent projects while also collaborating as part of a small team. Attention to detail and the ability to efficiently switch between tasks is essential. Key tasks: Collect part quotes and requests for quotes Negotiate purchases of commercial products; maintain inventory of stock Prepare trainer kits for upcoming trainer builds Support manufacturing technicians during trainer production NOTE: This position involves working in a warehouse where the temperatures can range from very hot to very cold, depending on the seasons. Aircraft parts and supplies being handled may be dirty and/or greasy.
