Purchasing Agent

Emerald Luxury Coaches is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Agent to support our luxury motorcoach manufacturing operation in Stephenville, Texas. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials, parts, and supplies are available to support production schedules and maintain the high standards of quality and craftsmanship our customers expect. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in purchasing, procurement, inventory coordination, or manufacturing support. Experience in manufacturing, RV, automotive, cabinetry, construction, or custom fabrication environments is preferred. Responsibilities Purchase materials, parts, tools, supplies, and equipment to support luxury coach production and operations Source vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships for production materials and specialty components Request quotes, compare pricing, negotiate costs, and evaluate supplier performance Create, submit, and track purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent production delays Work closely with production, service, and management teams to forecast purchasing needs and priorities Track shipments, deliveries, and vendor timelines to maintain production schedules Resolve discrepancies involving pricing, shortages, damaged goods, shipping issues, or invoices Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and inventory documentation Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and company standards Assist with inventory counts and receiving coordination as needed Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred: 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience Manufacturing, RV, automotive, cabinetry, construction, or fabrication industry experience Experience with purchasing software, ERP systems, or inventory systems Vendor negotiation and cost-analysis experience Skills Purchasing & Procurement Inventory Management Vendor Relations Cost Control & Negotiation Purchase Order Management Time Management & Organization Problem Solving Team Collaboration Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Occasionally lift or move materials/packages up to 25–50 pounds Comfortable working in both office and production environments Why Join Emerald Luxury Coaches?
