Purchasing Agent

Job Summary Future Solutions is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team in Elkhart, IN. As a Purchasing Agent, you’ll keep purchasing and supply activities moving by sourcing materials, comparing pricing, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams. You’ll use purchasing management systems and other system tools to support accurate orders, inventory control, and timely logistics. Duties Purchase materials, products, and services based on company needs. Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery. Create and manage purchase orders. Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery. Maintain strong vendor relationships. Resolve pricing, quality, and delivery issues. Coordinate purchasing needs with sales, operations, warehouse, and accounting. Monitor inventory and identify cost-saving opportunities. Experience with inventory control and physical inventory. Requirements Experience or demonstrated knowledge in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, negotiation, inventory management, or supply chain management. Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills for coordinating purchasing activities and vendor negotiations. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, especially Excel. ERP or purchasing software experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Manufacturing, distribution, RV, or automotive industry experience is a plus. Compensation is based on experience.
