Company Overview MME is a manufacturer of CNC-machined components, providing parts for aerospace, defense, and other industries. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in procurement. As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, supplies, and services from suppliers. This includes understanding material requirements, maintaining inventory of items, executing purchase orders, and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Responsibilities: Solicit and evaluate RFQs, compare supplier pricing and lead times, and negotiate best cost Place orders and monitor supplier lead times and delivery schedules to support production requirements. Track open orders and maintain accurate purchasing information in the ERP system. Proactively identify and prevent material shortages through disciplined buying, supplier communication, and risk management Requirements: Experience in materials, purchasing, planning, or inventory management Strong ERP experience with hands-on understanding of MRP, PO management, item master setup, and planning parameters. Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple suppliers and production priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience working with machined components, metals, or outside processing. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, tolerances, materials, and specifications. Familiarity with aerospace quality requirements such as AS9100, NADCAP, AMS, and MIL specifications. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
