Hydronic Modules is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Pump Builder & Fusion Tool Fleet Technician . This position is responsible for assembling and testing water pumps while also managing our fusion tool rental fleet. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality workmanship, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include pump assembly, fusion tool inspection and testing, preparing rental tools for customer use, checking equipment in and out of the fleet, and identifying tools that require factory service or advanced repair. While the primary focus of this role is pump assembly and fusion tool fleet management, the successful candidate will also support warehouse operations during down times by assisting with receiving, inventory organization, order staging, and general warehouse activities as needed. Key Responsibilities Pump Assembly Assemble and test various styles of water pumps. Read and follow assembly instructions and build procedures. Ensure completed assemblies meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Fusion Tool Fleet Management Inspect, clean, and prepare fusion tools for customer rentals. Check fusion tools in and out of the rental fleet. Perform operational testing to verify equipment is functioning properly. Troubleshoot and identify damaged, worn, or malfunctioning components. Document and communicate issues requiring factory service or higher-level repairs. Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, rentals, and service needs. Organize and maintain tool storage areas and inventory. Warehouse Support Support warehouse operations during periods of lower shop activity. Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory. Help stage materials and products for customer orders and shipments. Maintain clean, organized storage and work areas. Assist shipping and receiving personnel as needed. Required Qualifications Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment. Ability to identify equipment issues and determine when additional repairs or service are required. (Fusion tool training provided) Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the workday. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience assembling pumps, mechanical equipment, or industrial products. Experience working in a shop, warehouse, manufacturing, or maintenance environment. Forklift experience or certification. Experience managing rental equipment or tool inventories. Basic troubleshooting and repair experience.
