The Book Order Fulfillment Assistant is a part-time, in-office role focused on one thing: getting our books into the hands of the shops and customers who need them. You'll pick, package, and ship every book order that comes through — both distributor orders and consumer orders — so that when someone orders an ATSG manual, it shows up right and shows up fast. This is a light, flexible schedule built around a simple rhythm: you'll come in every other day for about 2-3 hours to work through whatever orders have come in. It's a great fit for someone who likes tidy, hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and can be trusted to get orders out the door correctly without someone standing over their shoulder. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As our Book Order Fulfillment Assistant, your day-to-day will be centered around things like: Pulling and reviewing incoming book orders — both distributor orders and consumer/web orders. Picking the correct titles and quantities from inventory for each order. Packaging orders carefully so books arrive in good condition. Printing labels and preparing shipments for carrier pickup. Keeping order and inventory records accurate and up to date. Keeping the packing area organized and stocked with shipping supplies. Desired Skills and Experience: Accuracy and dependability in everything you do. Comfortable with basic, repetitive physical tasks — lifting, packing, and standing for medium timespans. Ability to function independently and follow a process consistently, order after order. Good attention to detail; you catch mistakes before they leave the building. Basic computer skills for entering order and shipping information. Prior warehouse, shipping, or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you our process.
