As the “Face of PMHDC Southwest Medical Aid,” our drivers play a vital role in ensuring our partners receive their supplies safely, efficiently, and with professionalism. Position Summary: As a Driver responsible for picking up medical supplies, you will ensure safe and timely transportation while delivering outstanding service to our partners. This role requires a commitment to safety, accuracy, and professionalism, leaving a positive impact with every delivery. Key Responsibilities: · Safely and courteously drive to partner locations for the pickup of medical supplies. · Set up and verify pickup orders accurately to ensure partner satisfaction. · Communicate professionally and courteously with partners at their sites. · Participate in annual physical inventories of medical supplies. · Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized vehicle. · Follow all transportation and safety protocols, including proper handling of potentially hazardous materials. Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED. · Minimum age of 19 years. · Valid driver’s license that must remain valid at all times. · Clean driving record. · Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds. · Ability to read maps and navigate geographic areas efficiently. · Demonstrated safe driving in various road and weather conditions. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. · Professional demeanor with the ability to build and maintain cooperative relationships with partners and colleagues.
