Position Overview The Property Management Branch (PMB) Logistics Specialist will support processing, physical distribution, and logistics services in support of the Texas Army National Guard. Essential Job Function Field initiative records and package fielding teams. Prepare equipment for shipment and/or transfer (requires forklift operations). Analyze possible redistribution of equipment through transfer, loan or assignments. Review and process internal and external property equipment transactions. Research any errors or irregularities concerning any transactions. The contractor shall compare sub-ledger balances against physical verification records and general ledger clearing accounts to verify that on-the-books assets accurately mirror real-world inventory. Operate a variety of logistics tools, such as: Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Decision Support Tool (DST), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), and Force Management System Web Site (FMSWEB), to track issues, lateral transfers, inventory, requisitions, turn-ins, authorizations, and storage. Maintain an accurate filing system for all supporting transaction IAW AR 25-400-2 All aspects of a mission are properly resourced and executed. A typical MSP might include details on coordination of supply chains for equipment, fuel, ammunition, and other necessary materials. Details on the movement of equipment to, from, and within the operational area. Respond to inquiries regarding supply/logistics and technical questions and provide recommendations. Receive and verify incoming shipment and notify Program Managers (PMs) and Property Book Officers. (PBOs) Shipments must be verified immediately upon delivery, with any discrepancies reported to the PM and PBO within 24 hours. This critical accountability task must be included in the PRS table, evaluated against a strict standard of 100% accuracy and timely reporting. Review of Mission Support Plans (MSP) received from the Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG) G-3/FIRO Office. Mission Support Plans (MSPs) are comprehensive documents that outline the logistical, administrative, and operational support necessary to accomplish a mission. These plans are crucial for ensuring that all aspects of a mission are properly resourced and executed. A typical MSP might include details on: Coordination of supply chains for equipment, fuel, ammunition, and other necessary materials. Details on the movement of equipment to, from, and within the operational area. Prepare lateral transfer documents, for property being issued by the USPFO-PMB to units of the TXARNG. Schedule appointments for issue/receipt of equipment. Maintain records of all special authorization documents and email correspondence. Verify that receiving units are represented by authorized personnel and that DA 1687 and CDRs Assumption of Command memorandum are filed and current. Provide inventory and issuance of equipment to TXARNG units at the USPFO, South Fort Hood, and at Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site (MATES), North Fort Hood during Total Package Fielding (TPF) events. Coordinate with gaining PBO (Property Book Officer) for verification if equipment is still needed for all outgoing equipment to gaining states prior to processing shipment requests.
