Propane Delivery Driver / CDL Driver Location: Silver Springs, NV Job Type: Full-Time About the Position We are looking for a Propane Delivery Driver / CDL Driver to join our team in Silver Springs, Nevada . The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Propane industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Safely load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to residential and commercial customers Operate propane delivery vehicles and equipment in accordance with DOT, company, and industry safety requirements Connect and disconnect delivery hoses and safely transfer propane to customer tanks Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues Maintain accurate delivery records, tickets, logs, and other required documentation Interact professionally with customers and provide exceptional customer service Answer customer questions and provide basic information regarding propane deliveries and services Identify and report potential safety concerns, equipment issues, or unusual conditions at customer locations Follow all applicable DOT, OSHA, company, and propane industry safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, equipment, and work area Assist with other propane operations and duties as needed Work additional hours when necessary to meet customer needs, particularly during periods of high demand or extreme weather Qualifications Current CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred Air Brake endorsement/qualification required as applicable Candidates without the required endorsements may be considered if they are willing and able to obtain them Must meet all applicable DOT requirements for commercial drivers Must maintain a safe and acceptable motor vehicle record Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all DOT, industry, and company safety regulations Previous propane, fuel delivery, HVAC, or similar delivery experience is preferred but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable, professional, and able to work independently Ability to safely perform physical work in a variety of outdoor conditions Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet customer demand Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, reference check, and motor vehicle records check Must be willing to comply with all requirements applicable to employees who transport hazardous materials Physical & Working Conditions This is an active, hands-on position that requires working outdoors and at customer locations. Candidates must be able to: Lift and carry up to 100 pounds Pull and maneuver propane delivery hose across uneven or adverse terrain Work outdoors in hot, cold, windy, and other adverse weather conditions Walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven ground Safely operate delivery equipment and handle propane hoses and connections Work independently for extended periods while maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism Customer Service Our delivery drivers are an important part of our relationship with our customers.
