Propane Rail Terminal Operator

Job Description Fortner Gas Company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Terminal Operator. Terminal Operator responsibilities include moving, hooking up and unloading propane railcars. Assisting transport drivers when needed with loading their transports and ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations. Will work with the terminal manager to learn all aspects of the operation including some technical measuring and recording. Due to the nature of the seasonal demand in this field, other tasks such as ground maintenance, mowing, equipment cleaning etc. could be assigned in times of lower demand. To be successful in this role, you should be a team player with a strong work ethic who is willing to work hard. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening, as well as physical (if applicable) Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions Ability to use equipment controls and operate machinery Good time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks Attention to detail required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (if necessary) Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times' ' Work Location: One location - One location Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
