Propane / Fuel Hauler

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Propane/ Fuel Hauler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of propane / fuel to various locations. As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure that deliveries are made on time while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service. WILL stay out 4 nights a week and will be running western Kansas. Duties Operate a tractor-trailer or tanker truck to transport propane safely to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload propane using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips made. Follow established routes for delivery while adapting to any changes or detours as necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials. Utilize manual transmission skills as needed for various driving conditions. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker vehicles. Must have Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement with verifiable experience. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks. Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols related to hazardous materials transport. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to company policies regarding safety standards.
